Lecture hall

The Faculty of Psychology at UMS provides air-conditioned lecture rooms with LCD projectors and is equipped with a WiFi network in each room to create a comfortable lecture process.

Hybrid and Smart Classrooms

Faculty of Psychology provides two spaces for various activities by both faculty and students. Both spaces can be used for online activities such as webinars and online classes.

Cubic Space

The Faculty of Psychology at UMS provides cubicle space that functions to support the learning needs of the Psychology Doctoral Program.

Psychology Laboratory

The Psychology Laboratory is divided into several sections that mutually support all academic activities of the UMS Psychology faculty, including:

  1. Observation and Interview Laboratory
  2. Experimental Laboratory
  3. Counseling Laboratory
  4. Individual Psychological Testing Room
  5. Computer Laboratory

Student Consultation Room (BKPP)

This institution specializes in psychological services, providing assessment, training, and counseling. The team consists of professionals with backgrounds in psychology, including lecturers and academics with master’s degrees in professional psychology, as well as HR practitioners with experience providing psychological assessments to educational institutions, companies, the general public, and government agencies.

University Facilities

Mosque

Sudalmiyah Rais Mosque is located on Campus 2 of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta which has three floors with a land area of ​​​​6,842 square meters. This mosque has an open concept that is applied with openings on three sides (north, west and south) without doors and windows so that it is expected to utilize natural lighting during the day. To create an indoor lighting effect supported by the installation of stained glass in the form of 12 rays that are inscribed with the lafadz Allah as the identity of Muhammadiyah. The mosque’s landscape design aims to maintain sustainability while improving environmental quality by developing the concept of strong bonds for progress. This goal and concept are embodied in the form/pattern of the landscape design and the selection of plant types.

Library

The UMS Library provides and strives for accessible information to support teaching and learning, research, and community service by utilizing information technology capabilities. The UMS Library has also experienced significant development, as evidenced by the increasing number of changes undertaken to advance itself. These changes include the building, facilities, funding, management, and the ever-increasing number of titles and copies of the collection, as well as the variety and types of collections.

Student Counseling Room (SMHWS)

UMS is committed to ensuring the mental health of its students amidst their busy academic schedule. Therefore, UMS provides free mental health services to its students through Student Mental Health and Wellbeing Support (SMHWS). In addition to providing free counseling services to active students, SMHWS also hosts webinars on student mental health.

Sports Area

Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta understands that sports activities must be supported by adequate facilities to maintain the health of students’ bodies, therefore UMS provides complete sports facilities ranging from indoor to outdoor activities. Indoor activity facilities provided include a fitness center (gym), sports arena (GOR), and others. While outdoor activity facilities provided include a swimming pool, running track, soccer field, basketball court, tennis court, rock climbing area and others.

Muhammadiyah Medical Center (MMC)

UMS is committed to providing the best healthcare services to students through the Muhammadiyah Medical Center (MMC). MMC’s polyclinic services include general examinations (also providing sexual and reproductive health consultations), dental and oral health checks, and physiotherapy services. For UMS students, MMC provides free healthcare services in the form of health consultations and the provision of medicines and vitamins. Students are required to wear neat clothing and bring their Student ID Card (KTM) when seeking treatment. MMC is open from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM WIB every day, to make it easier for students to access the best facilities.

Soelastri Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM)

UMS, through the Soelastri Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM Soelastri), is committed to providing the best healthcare services to students and the Surakarta community. To use RSGM Soelastri’s services, you can come in person with your UMS ID card (for UMS academics) and report your concerns. RSGM Soelastri will provide the best possible service. RSGM Soelastri offers a variety of services, including:

Advanced Equipment
RSGM Soelastri has advanced equipment such as 2D and 3D X-rays.
24-Hour Emergency Room
RSGM Soelastri continues to accept patients for dental emergencies 24 hours a day.
Accessible Area
Located in the center of Surakarta, RSGM Soelastri is easily accessible from all corners of the city.

Parking area

For the closest parking area to the Faculty of Psychology, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta provides parking in front of the Faculty of Psychology building. The Faculty of Psychology building also provides parking in the basement area. This parking area can accommodate both cars and motorcycles.

Disability Track

Various pathways at UMS have been specifically designed and marked for students with disabilities. These pathways are equipped with flat surfaces, free of obstacles, and clearly visible.

Disability Toilet

This toilet is specifically designed to meet the needs of students with physical disabilities, also equipped with wider space, handrails, and other facilities necessary to ensure comfort and optimize function.
